This is my first attempt at a blog, so hopefully I will get better at it over time.
So after a 4 hour stop over in Singapore we finally boarded the plane to HO Chi Minh. We arrived in around an hour and got through customs fairly quickly.
Walking out of that airport is like nothing else. There are thousands of people surronding the doors as you leave. Its like you are some sort of celebrity. Soon enough we sorted through the tourist price taxis and got one for only a few dollars.
We arrived at the happy inn, tired but excited. after freshing up, we wondered down the street (the area we stayed in is backpacker central). Stopped in a popular bar - Alleys Boo bar for a beer. Within minutes a local street seller was offering us marijuana! From then on we were at least offered daily. The rest of the day was fairly quiet, a few beers and dinner.
