Drip, drip, drip little April showers......actually that`s more like "should we start building that Ark yet" it`s been raining a lot here and there is - apparently- a lot of flooding in Eastern Canada at the moment. Really hard to motivate myself to get out and see stuff in this weather but discovered the Musee de la Civilasation is FREE today so that helps. The old town is very picturesque so hopefully it won`t still be raining tomorrow. I bumped into the school party again in town and then when I got to the museum I saw a grandma, daughter and granddaughter that I met at the station yesterday so had a good chat with them. Today is shaping up to a more social day which is always good when you are travelling alone. Loved the Museum, really interesting exhibition called Urbanopolis about redesigning urban areas to cope with increasing population and keeping it green - mentioned the congestion charge in London ha ha ha. Also finally found out a bit more about the differnt first nation peoples rather than just the French and British colonisers. Also met a tour guide who was telling me what great countryside I am going to see when I am on the train through to the West coast - looking forward to those 30 hours now!!! Laughed my socks off this eveing as I was watching the TV and an advert came on for Knorr stock and I know at home the k is silent but here they sound it out - It was hysterical.
