Just another sunset!
Caught my flight to KL this morning. Once at KL, and having made no plans I bought a ticket to Langkawi. I had an hour to kill before the plan left so treated myself to MacDonalds......Man, did it taste good!!!
Langkawi is one of a group of around 100 islands scattered in the warm clear waters some 30km off the N.E. coast off the mainland. After several weeks of being inland I was glad to sea the beautiful beaches here and the clear waters.
Since I had got to the island quite late and in peak season I struggled to get a place to stay. After a bit of searching I found The Amzar Motel. I met some people from England (Mick, Sarah and Emma from Bexley...where I used to live). Later went out with them for dinner
