We were actually contacted by Ms Popes friends seeking to see if any other World Nomads in Equador could help. These are the details for thise over there:

Missing person: Jenny (Jen) Pope was last heard of in Banos, Ecuador on the 9th January 2006.

Jenny was intending to travel to Quito but never arrived. Her son Stefan and husband Dave are in Banos at the moment and are struggling to find out any information at all.

Any help in locating anyone who had met Jenny or can shed any light on anything about this terrible situation would be greatly appreciated.

Locating the two Alaskans that stayed at the Princesa Maria is of up most importance.

We know that Jenny is a very gregarious person and would have talked to lots of people on her travels.

The last person we know that saw her was the night watchman, who has since gone missing.

British police were not allowed, by the Ecuadorian police, to trace him to speak to him.

Dear Simon,
When we were in Ecuador we did help to distribute this poster. It's a sad tale and one that we fear will not be resolved successfully. Maybe keeping this poster live on the web will help in a small way.
Best Regards,
Graham Williams.
