Jenny's Place

UNITED KINGDOM | Monday, 28 May 2007 | Views [467]

For the past few days we’ve been staying at Jenny’s (a friend we met on a train in Thailand and few years ago). It’s a neat place in Putney with loads of character and plenty of space. We’ve had her flatmate’s room for a few nights but I think tonight we’ll be relegated to the floor when her flatmate returns from a trip home over the bank holiday weekend. Jenny’s been a great host and made us feel really at home.

We went to a quiz night at a local pub with Jenny and her friends/workmates. She’s been going for a while and never done very well. Last night was a nail biter - coming down to a tie breaker. Jenny performed well under pressure and we won!! Very exciting it was – drinks all round! One of the questions was to name the airline with the koru symbol on the tail – so we knew that one well enough. We did a victory lap past Kit’s place just to check it’s still there.
