First it took me forever to get across the water to mainland Venice because i had an expired vaporetto ticke and couldn't figure out where to buy a new one. Then I waited in line for about 30 minutes only to have to then check my bag in order to go inside Basilica San Marco. Yes, I've seen it before but it is such an amazing and splendid church with all it's beautiful gold mosaics. It was worth it to see it again. I then got lost in Venice, which is just part of visiting Venice. But I found so many beautiful little treasurers. I walked around all day and my feet are killing me so know I am treating myself to a well deserved beer.
