Peru

After the first day some people disembarked and we took their more favourable positions away from the engine and the toilets. Personal space was a foreign concept on this boat, and we loved it. The levels of tolerance and patience that we witnessed were life changing for us. Not a single complaint was made about the difficult conditions. An incredible community spirit existed on the boat. We were all strangers on day 1, but by day 5, we had all shared conversation, laughs, food, blankets, hammocks, and had become like family. An incredible experience.
