This morning we went into Cairns city so that I could go to the City Library, to try to do some more family history research,while John visited the Cairns Regional Gallery as well as another small gallery of aboriginal art near the esplanade. Next it was time for me to get my hair cut while John went shopping. After lunch and more washing we visited the Crystal Cascades which is an area of small waterfalls and rapids in a very rocky river bed with rainforrest growing all around.
