Day 45
AUSTRALIA | Tuesday, 2 August 2011 | Views [212]
An early start today to ensure Lyn was on time for her flight back to Brisbane. The trip was uneventful and seemed to go much quicker than the trip up to Cooktown. The inland road is excellent so I am sure that Cooktown will have more visitors in the future. The rest of the day was spent shopping and washing, the never ending chores! We met our neighbour who is a retired farmer from around the Wallaroo area and probably played football against John while John was teaching in Kadina. He said "Why would you stay in the cold in SA when you can be up here in the winter?" The sky is blue, the temperature around 25 degrees and there are wonderful places to visit.
