Day 38
AUSTRALIA | Sunday, 24 July 2011 | Views [232]
This morning we attended the Port Douglas Sunday Market. Although there were lots of people it was mainly easy to move around and there were some very good quality items for sale - we managed to buy a few things. What a magnificent location Port Douglas has - turquoise ocean, palm fringed beaches and a mountain backdrop with the old wharf and then St Mary's Church. John M's birthday celebration started at 1.00pm and we all gathered at their house again. We feasted on prawns, ham and chicken with salads and then birthday cake with plenty of beverages to suit ones taste. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of good company and good food.
