Day 37
AUSTRALIA | Sunday, 24 July 2011 | Views [263]
Today we drove along the picturesque road from Cairns to Port Douglas - is this the Australian equivalent of the Amalfi Coast? The caravan park presented problems with a large tree and no friendly gentleman to help us into the park but I managed to park the van straight but about a foot away from the cement slab. My sister and her husband joined us for lunch and the helped us to work out how to erect our annex for the first time. After a little shopping we then joined John M. and Sharon, and all their friends who are here for John M's 60th, for a barbecue at the mansion they have rented for the week. A pleasant evening was had by all.
