Day 6

AUSTRALIA | Thursday, 23 June 2011 | Views [201]

We drove from Yulara to Kings Canyon (303 km) this morning. After setting up the van and having lunch we did the Kings Creek Walk along the base of the canyon. It was shaded with many ghost gums along the way as well as holly leaf grevilleas and many other plants in flower. There were lots of birds singing in the trees and not at all afraid of people. It was an easy walk with impressive views and new people to talk to. No mobile phone, internet connection or TV available here. Also visited the sunset viewing platform at the caravan park to take more photos.
