Well, the trip begins assuming there are no weather delays with flights out of Atlanta. Once in Belize, my traveling collaborator, MAH will find our way to the bus station and take the 5 hour express to San Ignacio. A small town on the edge of the jungle and 10 miles from the Guatemalan border. From there we hope to take several day trips exploring the mayan ruins in that part of the country. One of the larger and older ruins is just south of where we will be. Our guide is the moon guide and it has proven to be helpful in finding good guides and good spots to checkout. I believe i will greet 2011 from San Ignacio. stay tuned. td
