On the Road "The purpose of life lies at the intersection of the heart's deepest desires, the mind's keenest talents, and the world's greatest needs."

Russia

One of MANY statues of Lenin still overlooking Moscow (they don't make for very good landmarks when they seem to be at every other corner!). Since 1991, the Lenin statues that dotted the former Soviet republic Central Asian Stans have been torn down and replaced with more appropriate nationalistic statues (eg. Somoni in Tajikistan, Manas in Kyrgyzstan, the Golden Man in Kazakhstan)
