We walked along the other little Island in the middle of the Sienne (not Isle de Cite, with the Notre Dame, but the other one) and were taken a back by the number of people buying ice cream. It was insane. There were about 20 ice cream shops in the space of two blocks, and each one of them had about 20 people in a line waiting for ice cream. This is a picture of one of the lines. I haven't seen so many people waiting for ice cream in my life.
