This is place Vendome. It has a lot of expensive jewelry and perfume stores lining it. Other than that, there isn't a lot to say.

This is the Opera house. We didn't get too close to it because of this political demonstration happening (it was some national holiday I think). This guy is the guy who is propsoing policies like remove every non-native French person from France or something. We didn't go any closer for fear of being kicked out of the country.

These are the Military Police that were all over (no kidding, there were bus-loads of them on every street) who were, we speculated, making sure the political demonstration did not get out of hand. My guess is that they were also making sure the demonstrators did not personally deport people.
