Fouviere is the big neo-classical cathedral that overlooks Lyon. It was pretty big, but what made it really impressive was the view of the city (there are some pics of this later).

Fouviere is the big neo-classical cathedral that overlooks Lyon. It was pretty big, but what made it really impressive was the view of the city (there are some pics of this later).

Inside Fouviere. I think this part was the crypt area. The inside was pretty nice (for an old church) but I didn't want to take pictures because I thought it was disrespectful. There was also a sign saying not to, which was a factor in the lack of photos (though I was the only one who was deterred from photographing, it seemed).
