Hiked at a nearby mountain, it was way more rugged than I was used to for a normal weekend hike. Here we "transverse" (going sideways with no trial); we eventually ended near the top of that hill. I felt incredibly unfit, one slip and I'd go rolling down!

Homemade pickles and plum sauce. I learned canning and helped can them. They are now good for a few years.

The view was stunning throughout, surrounded by mountains and trees. In about 2 months, this will all be covered in snow.
