So we are both working!!
After 2 weeks sat applying for job I almost bit the arm of an old contact when she called me and said her company were looking for a Crew Logistics Manager for 3 months. Sweet!!! Only problem....it's in Oman. After some negotiation I have got flights back to Dubai every two weeks and Daire will come out when her can. It's pretty crap after living in each other's pockets for the last 2 years but hey ho!!
Daire has also been busy setting up his company (so he tells me, although Ally put some pictures up on Facebook of them conducting an interesting 'meeting' out on a speed boat around the Palm!!!) Needless to say he is surviving without me and being busy is helping. This past weekend was his first trip out here.
We chilled on the Friday night and Saturday he surprised me by booking us into the Shangri-la resort in Muscat so we went exploring the city on the way! This place is beautiful and so lovely and hilly after being in 'flat' Dubai! We had a fabulous afternoon and evening chillaxing. It is so easy to forget when you are working that there is a world outside!!
Check out the pics! Can't wait to go back next weekend - already Dubai is feeling like home, I guess it's because we know we're going to be there for a while.
