On my way to Australia! Hopefully this little journal will help me describe where I am and what I'm doing while out in the big wide world.

This article comes under the heading things you need!! Before setting out on this trip I read a few books, those that know me will know what that means.................so one of the items that you shouldn't leave home without is the universal sink plug. Well I thought I would get one and so it came to pass(!) you cannot travel without one especially if you visit my younger brother Columb, in his flat in Slough. NO BATH PLUG so very relieved to find my plug in the bottom of my backpack, never thought I would use it. Here in New York have used it every day to wash not only myself but also small bits of clothing. so the long list of things you shouldn't leave home without was obviously written by someone who has visited my brother before going on their travels!
