Soleil, the friendly sentry

Soleil, the friendly sentry

Have hopped on with the Moose Travel Network. First stop was Kingston. Just a university town with almost all the students gone for the summer. We stayed in the Queen's University halls and, aside from at the Crowne Plaza, it was the best sleep I've had in a week. Proper beds in large spacious twin share rooms, woo hoo! Kingston appears very neat and tidy. One main street, some picturesque buildings and not much else. However, Fort Henry is a must see, where 19th century military life is reproduced with parades(didn't get to see it) and sentries, and an evening spooky tour (didn't do this either). Great historical fun.
