Day 1 in Singapore - sore feet!

SINGAPORE | Monday, 17 August 2009 | Views [347] | Comments [2]

I have been walking around Singapore for 7, yes 7 hours today!!  And we only stopped for about 30 mins (two refeshment stops for 15 mins!) Breakfast was yummy (scrambled egg, toast with peanut butter & jam and tea) so i was fully fuelled to walk for miles

Deborah and I have explored Little India, Chinatown, Orchard Road, Raffles Hotel and Singapore Art Museum (the museum was for you Dad!).  I've had a great day with Bridget (Dutch girl who's training to be a doctor) and we're planning to go out for tea & drinks tomorrow as its her last day.... should be good :-)

My feet are about to drop off so im going up to the top floor to sit outside and read my book.  I'm meeting the Australian girl, Bridget, at the night safari in a couple of hours so need to relax for a bit first.

Dad - tried to send you an e-mail but it bounced back... please can you e-mail me and then i can just reply.  Don't worry, im not asking for money, yet!!

Hiya M - wow it sounds like you have done so much already and made friends too!

Hope your little feet and manky fingers have sorted themselves out by now! I am sure just being in Singapore will mask the aches - although a tad concerning you cant feel your fingers??!?!?!

All is well here - Matty's folks are here, driving me slightly barmy... They keep trying to tell me what to do but in a 'helpful' way which is far more ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! :)

Off spinning in an hour with Lis and Rhi - going to have a swim first and then spin! I am too healthy for a Monday!

Enjoy your book and have a fantastic time on the night safari!

Hey M

Pretty sure you should be asleep by now or perhaps still on night Safari? - I want to hear all about it - I never did that and I really wanted too :-)
I'm shattered after spinning class - my legs have fallen off.
Enjoy the rest of Singapore and catch up again soon
