Watch out for that tree!!

For those of you who know me rather well you would probably be surprised to hear I went zip lining though the jungle in Northern Thailand while on my holiday. A bit out of character for someone who is a bit of a chicken – but it is so important to get outside of the comfort zone and try something new….I mean what is there to lose – I know where I’m heading if anything super life threatening happened!

First was the windy one hour drive up the mountains and into the forest. The lush greenery warmed our hearts as we sucked in the natural beauty. It is amazing how much I miss trees while living in Phnom Penh.

Now no adventurous jungle flyer is complete without a super stylish hair net. So rather than cringe at how this will look I decided to rock it and make it look good.

This is a serious activity…..haha maybe not. But here is the before shot of the four of us, all armed with out high tech breaks (or bamboo sticks) for those more speedy runs.

So I’m no Tarzan, but it was fun (when I wasn’t completely terrified) trying new things and gliding through the forest. There were 21 zip lines in all and 3 repels. Our guides were humorous and I think we all enjoyed ourselves. Plus I think I started improving the further we got into the forest. Certainly worth doing.
