As I set up my classroom for the start of the school year I have placed this little sign, that my sister gave me for Christmas, to help maintain a positive state of mind.
I know there will be days that I will sit down at my desk, vastly fatigued and glance out at all those little chairs and will be reminded to smile and enjoy the little things. I think if we don’t do that we will just drive ourselves crazy with the struggles and challenges of the days and miss those opportunities to celebrate and grin at the small joys.
I challenge you to smile and enjoy every aspect of your day, don’t let difficulties overtake you. It will make each moment far more pleasurable and you’ll receive the blessing of relishing each joy that may come.
