Up on the roof

The day after a big bus journey is like being in space, you do sleep on these buses, they are comfy, well some are if you pay the price, but its the kind of sleep thats intermitten every 15 mins by a mega honking bus horn, your drool tickeling your chin or someone snoring.

Checked into the El Camiente class, bo selecta hostal. Nice terrace to chill out and some of the best fried eggs yet. OK so we are up at altitude 2400m so  walking up the stairs hurts the lungs, so Coca tea is on tap to eleviate the the sickness.

Arequipa is well pretty with Mount Chichani and Misti looming in the background. Hung around Arequipa, checking out the supermacado, Plaza and the Santa Catalina Monestery which housed nuns back in the day, in bling settings, A village in a village.

To be continued..............
