Those of you visiting Perth should make a point to visit Fremantle. It’s a hip, happening little town, lots of cafes, bars, and live music. We learned that Perth, especially Fremantle, has a great live music scene, because they are unable to have pokies (betting) in their establishments. The live music provides that extra revenue stream, and is a nice way to really enjoy the local music culture here. We especially enjoyed the fine home brewed beers.
