t-4 hours

Sittin in the SFO airport. Jen H and Jon D took me to lunch then dropped me at the airport. I'm super early but wanted them to have the opportunity to be able to get out SF before the July 4 holiday weekend crush. Lunch was a stop at SF Taco Shop to watch some minutes of the Uruguay vs Ghana and eat my last burrito for the next 3 months. That's something I'll be missing, but I've got some Dave's Insanity sauce to help soften the blow.
As quietly suspected: The AA ticket agent would have send my gear on thru with the paying of the proper charges. She didn't refer to the embargo at all. I could have come with heavier bags or more bags. But as Jon D said: the last thing I'd want to deal with is being in a strange land with more baggage than I could move myself on my body. If it weren't for the invention of the wheel I'd be over that limit right now I think.
So now I'm sitting in front of gate 60...and will be here for the next 4 hours. ho-hum. I do feel a nap coming on. If you are in SFO, and have a few minutes to spare, swing on by Gate 60 and take in a game of chess or backgammon. I'm the one in orange and say 'Hi'!
