Today after
school we met Chiara at the station to go to Elba. We took the train to Pisa and then switched to get to
Piombino. From Piombino we took a 1 hour ferry to the island. After hiking up a
hill, we finally got to our hotel and discovered the amazing views out our
balcony! Chiara, Morgan, Nat and I went down to the beach, but didn’t end up
swimming, just throwing rocks in the water for an hour. We went to dinner and
had some great wine, but that’s pretty much all I had because everyone’s
seafood made me lose my appetite, as did my uncooked steak that they brought me
instead of the seafood. After dinner, we went out for some drinks and then just
came home around 1!
