Today we officially started our tour in Rome. Mom and Dad finally got to Florence and we made it to Rome around 8 last night. We just ate a pizza at the hotel and then went to bed to wake up at 6 this morning. I didn’t want to go to the Vatican again so Sanjay and I just wandered around Rome for a couple hours and then we took a tour of Ancient Rome and the Colosseum. I’ve done all these tours before so they weren’t that exciting for me. While all the parents went out for dinner, Pooja, Sanjay and I met up with Pavan and went to Trastevere for dinner. We just wandered around to the Trevi and the Spanish Steps until coming back to the hotel for another early day tomorrow!

Depressed and lonely

So Mom called me this morning at 6:30 to tell me that they are coming Sunday morning because their flight was overbooked so they have to stay in New York for the night and leave the next day. I was still half asleep when I started talking to her so when I woke up later, I remembered that they were not coming until the next day and I got really sad. When I was trying to fall asleep, I wanted to cry because I was so sad! And I had to pack up and get a cab to the hotel by myself which wasn’t a big deal, but would have been better if Mommy and Daddy were here!

Katie, Morgan, Nicole and Natalie left today for Barcelona. It was kind of sad but I know I’ll see K and M again since I go to California. After they left, I took a nap and then went to dinner with Sara and Linna at Tijuana. I had chicken quesadillas and we had a couple pitchers of sangria. It was nothing compared to the sangria in Barcelona but it was still pretty good. After dinner, we just went to their apartment and hung out for awhile. I was pretty tired and was supposed to pick up Mom and Dad in Pisa Saturday morning so I just went home early.

Pizza pizza!

Today we went to Pizzaoulo for lunch and it was amazing. I will definitely miss pizza in Italy because it is just so good. I can’t wait to go back on Saturday with Mom and Dad. We went shopping after pizza and I got a couple dresses from Zara. We didn’t get home until around 7 and we left around 2 so I was pretty tired but Nat and I made dogs and fries for dinner before drinking our two bottles of wine. I got kind of sick after I drank mine so I didn’t go out but everyone else headed out (to do the same thing as always!) Katie and Morgan and their friends leave tomorrow, but Mom and Dad come Saturday so I won’t be alone for too long!
