Kristina and her parents arrived today so
after school I met them near the Duomo and we had lunch. I, of course, had my
new favorite pizza salsiccia (sausage). We went over to Kristina’s apartment
after and then just took a walk around the city. I showed them the Ponte
Vecchio and we also came up to my apartment and Piazza Michelangelo. They
definitely agree that the view is worth the walk so I’m glad I didn’t make them
suffer too much on the steps! After Piazza Michelangelo, we headed back to the
Katrus’ hotel and sat around for a while before dinner. We went to a really
nice place called Oliviero. They were so nice to treat me to lunch and dinner,
especially since I am feeling broke and only eating grilled cheese most of
these days! Dinner was great and afterwards Kristina and I walked them back to
the hotel and I walked her home. Hopefully we will be meeting up this weekend
for a Middletown reunion with Brady
Akers who is also in Kristina’s program, should be fun!
