We didn’t have school today
because it was “Little Easter” which for Florentines means a day to party. We
woke up around noon and just hung out
at home. Morgan, Kristi and I went to Moyo/Internet Point to upload picture but
stupid facebook hates us and wouldn’t let me upload more than 20 or something.
After doing nothing all day, we decided to go out around 11. We wanted to go
play drinking games so we decided to go to Red Garter with a deck of cards.
Katie sent Nick a text message that we were going to go there because he had
sent her one asking what we were doing. Alexia, Morgan, Katie and I went and
got shuttles with our deck of cards and were already through 1 before Nick and
his friends showed up. We decided to just get another and continue the games.
Nick’s friends, and him sometimes, are jerks so we just kept drinking and not
really paying that much attention to them. We came back home and the boys
decided to come back and drink with us. We came home and again, the boys were
such jerks. They made me miss home so much and when I said I missed Ohio
and my friends, they kept saying “oh how does Ohio
even compare to California, have
you ever lived there” and I was getting so annoyed because I wasn’t even trying
to compare anything. I called Katie because I was annoyed and just needed to
vent, so it was really good talking to her and Steph because it made me feel
like I was home, even though I missed them. I eventually got fed up enough to
just say I was going to bed, but when I was getting ready for bed, they started
to leave. I came back out after I heard them leave and was still just sad and
missing home so I called Jordan.
It was really good to talk to him because I just miss everyone from home and in
my drunken state just kept thinking, “I have 10 more weeks left here and I
can’t believe it.” BUT Katie said Nick kissed her on the cheek! Which was
funny, because she didn’t really let him at first…but she decided to walk them
to the door? Yeah, very weird, but she did! He tried to be very European and
kissed both cheeks. Probably the better part comes later when she sent him a
text that said “Seriously, what’s the deal?” and he said “Elaborate” so she
said “There might have been one girl or more who was ready to make out with you
and you peaced out…” and he didn’t say anything so she said “Yeah that’s what I
figured, lame.”
