Feeling Human Again!

UNITED KINGDOM | Wednesday, 18 January 2012 | Views [455]

Sorry I haven't written for awhile - I haven't been well so I haven't been doing anything worth writing about for the past few days!!

I went to the Dr on Monday, and I didn't get charged for the consult or the presription so that was fantastic! (Apparently Medicare have an agreement with the UK to Bulk Bill all consults and you dont pay for prescriptions in Scotland - wish we had that in Aus!)

Lucky I'm starting to feel better, as Susan's neighbour Bernadette (who is really lovely) took me shopping at an outlet shopping centre in Livingston (near Edinburgh). She is a child minder, but only had one little girl today - Abby who is 2 1/2, very cute, and was amazingly well behaved being dragged around the shops for half the day! (although we didn employ a little bribery - Macdonalds for lunch and a lollypop at the end of the day). :o

I discovered more new shops, like TK Marks, Schuh, M&Co and Sports Direct. I got some really warm, cute tracky pants for 7 GBP, and fabulous black boots for 25 GBP, I also invested in a few new nailpoishes (I miss my collection at home-lol) and a new sodoku book; I thought that was quite restrained and well behaved shoppingwise (for me anyway!!)

I am going to Edinburgh tomorrow with Susan - so I'm pretty sure that more shopping will be had(!), but I did buy a postage bag today - just incase :)

Thanks for reading! xox
