Hi All

I would like to see you guys, sleeping in a tent, erecting tents and diserecting!! daily weeing in the bush, having cold showers nt having an hair dryer!! And eating vegetables and salad all the time!!!

And you begrudge me a toilet in my room. By the way Max what taxman is paying for this??

Arrived at the beach which I have to say is beautiful, Zanzibar has a reaaly nice feel to it, had dinner on the beach last night.

Managed to only get 2 bites so far.

Thank you JO and Max for keeping in touch you are either good mates?bored ? or more computer literate than the rest of my mates?

Well better go, this whole message as taken me about an hour as the connection is zanziband not broadband!!! Hakuna Matata!! Fluent already in Swahili!!

Take care, enjoy the party but clean up after

Txxxx ps I hate you both!!!

Lordy lord!! Am I exhausted after that party????!!! Was brilliant. Tracey you would've loved it (Ithink). The Balloon Dancers exceeded all expectations, especially when the pins came out!! And the male strippers? Well! Let me just say that the baby oil has brought up your new leather suite a treat. (Jo, I never knew you were that agile??) Anyway, don't worry everything will be put right before you get back. First job is to get roof back on before bad weather sets in. Your Keith is coming to have a look at it at the end of November. Pretty good for your Keith I thought.

Zanzibar sounds good. Think thats where Freddie Mercury was born. (so what I hear you say). Not your typical Zanzibarian I wouldn't have thought?? Where next? Is it Fidji? Luvverly!

Things fine and dandy here. Just got Joseph sorted with his Uni accommodation. He goes to Hull in less than two weeks!! Because he had to go through clearing, by the time he was offered a place there was no accomm left in the halls so he's renting private, sharing a house with two girls!! It seems good as far as student houses go-there is glass in the window frames and carpet on the floors. Positively palatial!!
He will be fine there. Its even got decking! Whats that about, since when do students have bloody decking?? Far cry from me slumming it in Hyde Park bedsits!

Will finish off now and let someone else have a go, come on Jo,lets finish off the mopping up.

Lots of lurve

Maxine Xx
PS. I know the taxmans not paying but I was being Jeremy Kyle, he always says that when he is cross. Don't you watch? You need to broaden your horizons lady, never mind swanning round Africa and Zanzidoodah. There's a whole world of daytime telly out there!!

Woo hoo - thanks for the email - at last some bug action!! Nice to hear that you're continuing to rough it - not!! Thought the point of this overland thingy was to experience 'the real africa' - peeing in the bush and all that. Me thinks that this is all a bit of a ruse, you're actually in a five star and sunning yerself with waiter service on a beach in mauritius. Hope you get this post cos you seemed to have ignored me keeping in touch through this internet malarky! Not to worry, I am bored and it gives me something to do.
Take care,
Tracy

ps
Max, i agree that jeramy kyle is spot on but can't hold a candle to king of daytime - Dr Phil.

Hi

Phew - it´s taken me days to recover from that party. The photos are getting lots of hits on our blog Max. The ones of Ant & Dec in the ´cellar´are the fave. Mmm houses with no glass in the windows and no carpeting - was having a relapse there to Sunday morning!!

Glad to hear you´re now a professional at tent erecting an de-erecting Trace. We need to see some photos of all these places and experience. Plus a few of you with non-blow dried hair.

I´m guessing you´re basking in gorgeous sunshine and seeing some amazing sights. Can´t believe how easy it is to communicate when you´re so far away - god that makes me sound old!!

Tasleem please tell me the gossip on AR ´the wicked with of Portage´ it´ll make my day.

Who is Dr Phil?

Take care Fozzy (why is that your nickname?)
Lota of love

Unlike these posh lazy gits who spend all day in front of a computer or putting the world to rights with Mr Kyle and Dr Phil!. I have a full time job running the council and have just walked down to the library on my first day off in weeks to say hi and find someone attractive to suck your insect bites!!!
Rhinos fininshed 2nd and face a tough play off.
Went out with Nathan and keith last night and they both say hi. Nathan thinks youre really hip having a blog! Bless Shimmie, xx

Maybe I am a lazy git Miss Piggy but I DO NOT spend all day in front of the computer, especially as its been playing silly beggars just lately and have had no access for days boo hoo. The times I am not sat here I can be found in the toilet rocking backwards and forwards humming 'The Wheels on the Bus'. These are my 'me' times. I look forward to them, please don'tmake me feel guilty. I am not a bad person(!)

Oh, I'd better say hello to you Tracey, how are you doing me old mucker?? Hellooooo? Yes its me, Maxine, friend who you made promise to keep in touch? And I have!!! About due another response methinks?

I also went out with Nathan and Keith and they said, 'Tracey? Tracey who??'

Serious stuff now-my baby boy goes to Uni on Saturday. Will he cope? He seems to think so. He's bught a plant for his new house. Aww bless. No food, just a plant. Bring back 1980 eh Trace?
Other top news is that Ellis has got a job!!! In an establishment called 'Fantasy World'. Steady, its not what you think. Its a fancy dress shop. She is well suited. So Tress you know who to see for your Ginger n Fred regalia.
Well thats me for a while, not much else going on, boring Wakey news isn't it?
HOope you are still enjoying Keep safe.

ps. I rang up a local building firm,
I said 'I want a skip outside my house.'

He said 'I'm not stopping you.'

Ha bloody ha!!

Just wanted to remind you that I can sympathize with you sleeping in tents, weeing and pooing in the great outdoors and no hairdryer! Go girl! this is what it is all about!
