Another day in China

CHINA | Monday, 5 November 2007 | Views [816]

Today was typical.  It was life in China as I live it.  There is nothing particularly interesting or amazing to tell.  It wasn't a blah day.  But it wasn't an incredible day either.

I woke up around noon at Case's.  He and I chatted for a bit.  Then, I decided that it was absolutely necessary for me to take a shower.  It's been a few days.  We walked downstairs and he bought some food, but I wasn't hungry.

I began the voyage back to my side of the city.  One hour and 50 minutes later, I arrived.  When I got home, I didn't feel like doing anything.  So I just went back to sleep.  I still wasn't hungry, and it was too cold to brave a shower.

I woke up around 8 and talked to some friends on the internet, planning yet another trip to meet up with my amazing fellow English teachers.  Updates on life, complaints about other friends, and gossip about still others.

Still not hungry, but deciding that going without eating for an entire day is bad news, I made some fried rice.  Now, I'm trying to enjoy it while preparing myself for a shower.  It's only 9:40 pm, but I kind of feel like going to bed again.

Today should have been a rainy day.  Then, I would feel like my lack of doing anything would have been justified.
