Alright folks...sorry it's been so long. Here's the scoop in a nutshell.... Approx. 375 kids! insane! They were an exceptional bunch of students and adults, though. I do not believe that I have been around people who were more receptive to the spirit in worhsip than these. I mean-it was completely uninhibited worship for the most part. Just outbursts of clapping and just cheering for the Lord...it was awesome! There were some incredibly sweet times in music during the worship! Beautiful stuff! Just beautiful! I had a few thoughts during this project: Number one...wow this is way more work than i could've ever imagined. And a lot less sleep that i've had in a while. Number two is this: Although i didn't really get a whole lot of time to spend with the students and really get some meaty one-on-one time with them...they were a huge impact on me. First off, they were my beginning. They were my first in this string of 4 summer projects and that makes them special. Secondly...it was just so neat to see this transformation of these people in my life: from names on a list in a stack of 10 other churches into people. Into real kids who were in love with Christ and were so incredibly appreciative of the work that we were doing. They transformed into these lives that touched the community of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and that is huge. They impacted my life in a way that i'm not even sure how to describe. But their sensitivity to the spirit in worship touch my heart to its core. It was a beautiful week in that. Number three: my music is for no one else but Christ's glory. Amen? Amen! So now, we are sitting in our hotel in Montgomery and tomorrow we will drive to Atlanta and then Monday we fly out to PUERTO RICO!!! it's on!

Hey there. Your mom and dad told me how great the worship service was and what a wonderful job your doing in serving the Lord. I know God has touched your life as well as those you are leading in worship. We all are praying for you each and everyday. Hope Puerto Rico is wonderful too and many great things happen for the good and glory of God. Love you Anna and God bless you always.

I just wanted to let you know how proud you make your Mom. Not because of your musical ability...good singers are a dime a dozen. Even though I have seen you sing in church since you were a little girl, watching you transform into a spiritual leader for a huge group was almost more than I could take in. I shouldn't be amazed at the Godly woman you have become, because I've always known that God was going to use you in mighty ways. Kind of funny that parents pray for their children even before they are born, but yet we somehow are suprised when we see those prayers answered beyond our wildest imagination. Go figure! I think Bill said it right when he told you that you better fasten your seat belt. I think God has big things in store for you!

I love you so much!
