Training is over. After a week of coloring rainbows with crayons (no really...), sharing my feelings and playing guitar until my fingers fell off, I have been deemed "ready" to take on the challenge of music leadership. I feel more ready this year than I did at this time last summer, which goes without saying, really. But we had a great time at training. This is my team:
Danielle Morrow (Goodlettsville,TN) - Team Leader/Mission Communications Specialist
Rachel Oswell (Idabel, OK)- Office Manager
Quinton Soronen (Meridian, MS) - Audio Visual Technician
and Randy Beggs (Ft. Worth, TX) - Worship Speaker
We are getting along really well and had a great time in the car today on our 8 hour trip from Alpharetta, GA to Memphis. (Pretty sure it is NOT supposed to take 8 hours). We talked about everything from pooping in our pants (yes, really) to sharing our testimonies with one another. It was a lot of fun for our first venture in the Expedition.
Rachel keeps calling me a "creepster"
word of the day: Memphrica (As in the merging of Memphis and Africa)
I will be updating more over the course of the summer. I will have a TON of pictures, thanks to my wonderful parents who bought my new camera for my graduation. I will try to be more informative on my upcoming entries.
love you all.
