Had the best day EVER!!! Off-road biking round Koh Tao exploring the island. SO much fun I can't describe. And at the end of the day I took a ride down the coast road and stumbled on a big local event - a series of football matches and all the locals were there. There was awesome Thai food being served and ICE-COLD BEER. I was in heaven. And one moment, I thought, 'I've done this. I've set out completely on my own and I've had such an awesome day, I feel so happy and I can't stop smiling'. That was probably the liberating kind of experience that solo backpacking brings. Heading off to Krabi now.
