I thrive on adventure and tricky situations; and I live for photography. Going to work everyday is made easier by the thought that it is funding my next lens or the next adventure somewhere in the world. This scholarship would provide me with the headstart I need, and of course, some much needed photographic mentoring! I get the greatest joy in sharing my experiences through my photography, to be able to do this as a job would be a true gift (albeit very hard work). I like to try new things that challenge my adventurous spirit and my emotions; like travelling on the Mukuba train in Tanzania, driving through Malawi at night and visiting soul-wrenching sites like Auschwitz. Trying to capture the feelings involved in these experiences through photography is the tricky part! Hopefully my entry has been successful in capturing your attention and sharing the emotion behind it.
