Bath

UNITED KINGDOM | Thursday, 5 July 2007 | Views [523]

Bath is a town planner’s victory! Lots of glorious buildings in harmony with each other. We took ourselves on a walking tour starting with the Royal Crescent then the Circus (where I found 2 quid yay!), then the baths old and new. We’d spent that night free camping on a street leading into Bath. We’d originally planned to stay at a picnic spot north of bath but it was, alas, height restricted so we couldn’t get in. We pulled into a spot at the entrance and were quite comfortable… until… we noticed a disproportionate number of men, on their own, driving into the spot and parking up. Some with an odd frequency. It slowly dawned on us that it was ‘one of those’ places where men go to meet each other – if you catch my drift. So we moved pronto!
