Kevin rode with Michael on another new route, over the new bridge for a 38km ride. I hadn't slept very well so was up a little later than usual. I decided to have a rest day from the gym and only went to the pool. Claire and Gerry were there and we talked briefly. We had lunch at Almanity and Kevin headed home around 2pm to go for coffee while I stayed til 3pm. I decided to complete my assignments for the last TESOL module Hospitality English and worked on it til 5.45pm. I emailed it off before I could decide to spent any more time on it or make any changes. What is will be. By now a storm had moved in and it was raining, thunder and lightening. We were due at Vang’s for dinner at 6pm so I txt her to say we were waiting another 15mins before we leave in the off chance it eases up. I advised Kevin that he should come on the motorbike and he agreed. Luckily it did ease and so on with the rain coats and off we go. There was a lot of water on he roads but luckily not a lot of traffic. Duc and Tri are working so it was Vang, Wing and Van (Vang’s nephew) for Cau Lau with pork and chicken. It was yummy (Nhon). The new car was under cover and looks very impressive. Appears Duc is still working for the company until late September so as to give them a chance to recruit someone else. My question, how will they afford the VND 10m loan payment for September. Didn't stay long as the thunder and lightening was still going on but the rain had eased.
