I was up and ready for my ride to the airport at 6.45am. I locked all the windows, Kevin's bike was chained to the bars on the window, the gate etc. Dung came and helped with my bags. The car was comfortable and we took the long way to the airport. When we got there the line for Vietjet was miles long so I looked for a way to jump the queue. I asked one of the staff no he directed me to an end line which only took 15 min to clear. My luggage weighed right on 20kg and my hand luggage was over the 7kg allowed by 3kg but the girl didn't say anything. Lucky I guess. The flight got away just about on time no we landed in HCMC just after 10am but then sat in the bus for 20min before we moved to the terminal. My car was waiting and he took me to my hotel, Graceful Saigon at 63 Bui Vein St. We normally stay at Beautiful Saigon, 62 Bui Vein St but I had booked on Agoda and was happy with the price. When I got there my room wasn't ready so I headed off for lunch and a wonder. I ended up at Tax Supermarket and got the supplies I wished to take home. I wondered back around 2pm and as shown to my room. It as similar to the rooms at Beautiful Saigon but a little tired. I wasn't overly hungry at dinner so I wondered the street looking for a restaurant that had western soup. I ended up at Oasis Hotel, sister Hotel that had the pool that guests could use. They had a band playing and I sat eating my chicken soup and salad.
