After riding this morning Kevin took his bike to Tan to look at as he says the gears are off a little bit. Tan kept the bamboo bike and said he has to take it to Danang to be fixed. Kevin doesn't seem to know fix what! Kevin came home on Tans bike which he says is better than his bamboo bike to ride and he might make Tan an offer to buy it. Unfortunately it had flat tyres when he left Tans and he had to replace the tube when he got home. Kevin then heads off to Paddy’s to watch the AFL where Port are playing Bulldogs which is Mark’s team. He is meeting some of the guys for a footy afternoon . meanwhile had my introduction to Topica with my Overview session with Ms Jasmine. All went well and she said I am now required to sit a practice test, where I teach a basic and an intermediate lesson and will be evaluated and feedback provided. I will then have to sit the real exam test, which is again teaching a basic and intermediate lesson. Jasmine sends me through the lesson plan and notes for the practice test and we arrange for the test to be Monday at 2pm. I rush off to the printers to print out all the information that Jasmine has sent as I need the hard copies to make notes on etc. I went to The Circle for an avocado and mango salad which was yummy. I spend a couple of hours looking over the lessons and making notes. Hein arrives for her lesson and we continue to work on the speaking aspect. After the lesson I headed down to Paddy’s for a drink and to watch a little footy. I didn't stay long and we arranged to have dinner at The Circle. I had only just arrived when it started to pour. While I waited for my meal I sat and spoke with Keith who was there downloading a movie. Kevin rocked up absolutely drenched and ordered a burger as well. Mark then rode up and ordered a burger to go. Mark continued to give Kevin heaps as he is a Bulldogs supporter and they beat Port by 3 points.
