Kevin was off riding again at 5.30am. At 10.30 we headed to 3 Dragons to watch Port play Carlton. Well Kevin left at half time as he was too stressed to watch anymore so he headed to the beach. I went and sat in the Bahn Mi café and ate my lunch there. I then went back to 3 Dragons and watched the last quarter. I was talking to an Aussie guy, Mark who is looking to set up a company, buy some land and build 2 Bali Villas for daily rent. It was an interesting concept, but I'm not sure who will pay US$300 a day. I headed back and spent some time preparing lessons for Tri. I headed off at 4pm to teach Tri, just as Kevin came home. I stopped on the way to get a carton of beer as we had run out at Vang’s. Kevin met Nigel and Jane Blackah at Dingo Deli at 5.45 and bought them to Vang’s. Vang had Spring rolls from the supply we had made earlier in the week from the freezer, beef lot leaf, eggplant samosa, fried chicken, noodles and salad. I helped with the fried chicken by coating it, while Jane helped cook and turn the eggplant. Tri was cooking the beef lot leaf on the induction cooker. Kevin and Nigel sat outside drinking beers while the work was being done. Duc was working so we started without him. The food as usual was amazing. Jane and Nigel were very impressed and appreciated the invite. Duc came home when we had finished and we chatted with him for a while. Jane and Nigel had bought a gift for Wing, a remote controlled car, but we didn't have any batteries so he lost interest quickly. We discussed driving down the coast, over the big bridge and spending a day exploring the coast line with Nigel and Jane. Kevin adamantly said he refused to go on the back of the scooter with me and proceeded to criticise my driving to the point of rudeness. I ended up saying that he didn't have to come, so he's not.
