Kevin went riding on his own as Michael has now gone to Hanoi for work and of course Andrew is in Italy riding there. I went to the beach and called in to drop off some Isa with Jane. Stopped for a cuppa and a chat before going to Soul Kitchen. Kevin had arrived and was all set up in a hut. It was quite cold as the wind was directly off the sea from the north. I went for a stroll along the restaurants to look at the various menus. Stopped at La Plage and was impressed with the variety they offered and the prices were good. We had lunch at Soul Kitchen and as it had got really cold we headed home. Just in time as it apparently poured at AnBang. At home it was very windy and we only got a few drops of rain. I worked on the computer and prepared for my afternoon lesson with Tri. Kevin went for a coffee late in the afternoon while I went to Vang’s for the lesson. I rushed home and changed into the warmest and longest shorts that I owned for lawn bowls. We went first for dinner with Jane and Nigel to Minhs Vegetarian where we ordered a variety of dishes which were all yummy. We arrived at bowls and found out this was only the second time they had held them. Jerry Richmond was organising them but only had 20 old bowls. There were about 25 people who came over the two hour period. I told Jerry I was a coach and so he asked me to give a demonstration and to help everyone. We were playing on an AstroTurf soccer field and the turf was very long. Consequently it was heave ho. We had a lot of fun and met a lot of ex pats. Both Jane and Nigel enjoyed the evening as well. We got home around 10pm.
