Happy birthday Dwayne. Have a great day and we will have to have dinner this week before we head off to Qld. Kevin was up and complaining about the noise from the street and bars that kept him awake all night. I on the other hand have learned to sleep with earplugs so I didn't hear a thing and slept well. Kevin says he will never stay here again! Perhaps a good thing that we looked at iPeace Hotel. Kevin went walking at 6am in 23/9 Park for an hour and he met a French guy who ran /walked with him for the time he was gone. After breakfast we headed to Pasteur St and as we were walking thro 23/9 Park we had several people ask to take their photo with us for some competition and then a young lad wanted to walk with us and practice his English. We walked to the Market and then he left us. On Pasteur St we went to the Pharmacy we have used previously but there prices have escalated. From here we went across to The Cathedral and Post Office. I took a number of photos and Kevin got bored waiting. We went our separate ways from here. Kevin actually went to the church service, looking for guidance and direction. He even went up and was blessed by the priest. I meanwhile went to the large department store and had an iced coffee and then headed to Tax Department Store, only to find it closed and undergoing renovations. There was a sign on the door directing people to another location and I went in search of this location. After a while I managed to find the store and as I was looking around Kevin rang me to say that Tri, the guy he befriended in Nha Trang had been in touch and wanted to catch up for a coffee later in the day. I met up with Kevin then as he was only 100m down the same street as I was on and we went back to the store and bought a few things. We then headed back past Saigon Market and had a quick look in there before heading to Pho 24 for lunch. I had a Beef Pho and comquat juice for VND$39k while Kevin had spring rolls. We got back to the Motel at 1.30 so only had an hour before we had to head out again and meet Tri at 3pm. We went to Highlands Coffee and spent over an hour trying to make conversation. All Tri wanted was to have his photo taken with us to show his friends. By 4.30 we had had enough and pleaded tiredness to get out of going for a meal with him. We headed back and while I rested Kevin went out for dinner and had pizza.
