I walked into the market and bought some Lychee fruit. Kevin again stayed in bed. After breakfast we headed to the beach and Kevin did his record best time of 16 min 12 sec. We were a little earlier as Mr Dung is renovating his house and the noise is head banging once they start. At Soul Kitchen they were doing some concreting and paving and the workers did a good job but the dumb tourists kept walking on it before it dried. Da! I met a guy from Ireland, Jim who was in HoiAn for 3 weeks and he had been here 4 years ago. He has also lived in Sydney for 20 years. Had a good chat, exchanging spa and food details. It is a very hot day again and there are now small jelly fish in the water so everyone is just going in quickly to cool off and then getting out. I left at 12.30 just as Kevin ordered fries for lunch. Kevin came back from the beach at 3pm, just as I was heading off for my lesson with Ms Le and co. Mr Dung grabbed me to invite us for a family dinner tomorrow night. I explained that we had made arrangements to go out with Vang and Duc for their anniversary. I said I would get Vang to call in when she finished work at 4pm. Lesson went well with discussion about family and customs. The English guy Neville came back from Danang and we asked if they wanted to catch up for dinner but they had made arrangements. Kevin and I decided to head back to Pho Xau and we both ordered My Quang. Kevin enjoyed it and I said to him could he see his friends eating this and he said No!
