Walked to Cho Tan An Market and bought a mango and some laundry detergent. Kevin went along the river and across to Cam Nam Island to look at where Dong has built his house. Kevin says the work on the second floor is progressing. After breakfast, I tried the scrambled eggs today, we again headed to An Bang Beach. Kevin ordered a fresh orange juice and I a Saigon Coffee (Vietnam version of iced coffee) and both were yummy. I updated the blog and then did some internet research and planning for my afternoon teaching lesson with Ms Le. Headed back to Homestay for lunch just after 1pm. Kevin can now ride to and from the beach in 20 minutes each way. I of course take the scooter because I am lazy. I did a bit more planning for my first lesson with Ms Le and then headed over to Betel at the appointed time. We sat outside the family home and I was surprised that her English is not too bad. She just needs to practice more to build up her fluency. Part way through another lady turns up. Her name is Ngun and she is 6 months pregnant. The lesson went well and we arranged to hold them every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Kevin went walking along Cua Dai Road towards the Hospital Pharmacy as he wanted to get some Lipator. He found a small Pharmacy just on the edge of Ancient Town that sold what he wanted. He bought a 6 month supply and also some Panadene Forte. We decided to eat locally for dinner and so walked down Cua Dai Road to Pho Leu Restaurant where Kevin ordered fried spring rolls and I ordered chicken and corn soup. We also had the local beer. Kevin ended up with 10 spring rolls and my soup didn't have any corn but was nice. We ended up having 3 beers each. The total cost of the meal was VND $97k or A$5.70. We chatted with a Dutch couple throughout the meal who were travelling through Asia and staying at Ancient House Hotel.
