Day 49 – 11th June 2014 Wednesday. Kevin went off walking early and I made a chiro appointment. Headed into main town area and drove past the bowling club to see when we could get a game. Put our names up for next Monday and reserves for Tuesday. The green (only one with 8 rinks) is a carpet similar to Pt MacDonnell. We then went for a brief walk around the shopping area in Chinatown before I dropped Kevin at Maccas where he could read the paper while I was at the chiro. Next to chiro was a satellite shop so I bought a second 2m cable as a spare. Picked Kevin up and went to Woolworths for some needed supplies and fuel. After lunch we all headed to the beach in both vehicles to try our luck at fishing. Tide was still going out and we threw our lines in. Dad caught a queenfish trevally and a sand whiting and I caught a dart. All good eating fish. On getting back to caravan park I went and booked my Horizontal Falls trip for 26th June. Cost $795 – of cause this is a bucket list event and I will never do it again. Also looked at a photography tour but dates do not coincide while in Broome. Card games at night are continuing and dad has now got over the shits and is playing again and now winning some hands. $1 each person is the pot.
