Day 47 – 9th June 2014 Monday. Tides indicated best time to fish off the jetty would be between 8 am and 10 am just before the high tide at 11 am. We got there about 9 am and Kevin even threw a line in and caught the first fish. We all caught 2 each but alas none were of legal size. Kevin and I called into the bakery on the way back and got a pie for lunch. Was yummy. In avo we headed to Myall’s Bore which is 322 metres deep and it feeds a cattle trough that is 120 metres long. Supposed to be the longest trough in the southern hemisphere. Did a little grocery shopping and looked in at the local butcher.
