Day 43 – 5th June 2014 Thursday. Rest day at Mary Pool. Decided to stay another day. Kevin not happy as he didn’t know what he was going to do all day. I told him to enjoy the moment, smell the roses and chill. He decided to go for long walks instead. I was speaking with a couple who had their satellite dish up and he offered to help me to see if I could get a signal. Bingo, after 40 minutes we were able to get VAST. Needed to send a ping signal to Sattv to reset the box. Learned something from this guy. Hadn’t been doing anything wrong other than not sitting and fiddling for long enough to try to find the signal. Very fickle. Decided that we need a bigger dish so may look to have one mounted on the roof of the van to make things simple.
